Snowshoe Hike + Craft Beer Tasting Feb. 16
/Join us at Better Farm from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 for a 2-mile, off-track snowshoe hike followed by a craft beer tasting. This is a great way to get out in nature for a fun winter adventure! Advanced tickets are required ($15/adult, children free) so we can ensure there is enough beer and food. Any questions can be directed to info@betterfarm.org.
ABOUT THE HIKE
We will traverse through forested woods, fields, ridgelines, and sections of frozen marsh, eventually reaching a point with 360-degree views of totally untouched wilderness.
Snowshoes are not required for the hike, but we will have some pairs available should you not have your own and want to use them This is a moderate-level hike with some steep inclines and slippery rock surfaces—please plan accordingly! Children are welcome (and free) but we do ask that very young kiddos be in carriers and older children be capable of traversing the distance. Please dress in layers and waterproof boots. Because we will not be on trails, also be mindful of jackets or sweaters that easily snag on brush.
ABOUT THE BEER TASTING
Following the hike, we'll gather inside the farmhouse around the wood stove to socialize and enjoy a flight of six craft beer samples from New York breweries, along with light food pairings. Non-alcoholic flights are also available! Click here for tickets.
